Write it when you feel it!

As you might already know, I am not an expert on world football. But as all the football fanatics who tends to act like an expert when it comes to football matches and favourite players, I do have an opinion. Being in heart of England during the world cup first round exit season, first time after 1958, thought of sharing what might have worked better if at all there was some chance. As always the football coaches are often the subject of a poke and dig from fans and followers alike, this can just be ignored as a rant or bitching. To put things on perspective, I am not an English football fan but expected them to play better than what they did considering the talents at disposal. Often I have shared with my friends and close ones that since most of us follow premier league, we get awestruck when we see all the club stars together on the pitch sharing the same dressing room. Another trip on my wall As all exciting trip days, I woke up early without any alarm or black tea. Rushed to send work emails to settle few pending stuff to allow my mind to slip-in to the holiday mood. My wife and son got ready in no time as always and we took the trains to the Victoria Coach station. Last time I was on this coach station, we missed the bus for no reason. And this time we were far too keen to rush and board the bus without any gate opening or calls unlike last time when they never opened gate or did a call but expected the world to get into the bus. World would be in its best documented time with the surge of the online world. Folks across the world has embraced the online world with both hands and shoulders. We have lot more net-i-zens than citizens any country could every need. The World Wide Web has cobbled a fine path for people at all facets of life. With all the loneliness around my single travel to London, I have started being more absent minded. Money comes secondary when it comes to mental happiness and a long way behind family and friends. Now that my family has applied for visa, my mind is slowly falling in place. There are few interesting things that I have noticed and thought of putting it down in here. Modern world seems to have had a good say in standard of living but not on thought process as I observe. The best part of London is the connectivity. Every day is a special day if you apprehend the fact that we have lived to see another day in our life. We seldom worry about this as the saying goes “As long as it runs, let it run”. Now this applies to electronic devices including our daily partner cell phones, trusted time keeper – the wrist watch and similar beings. Are we living the moment? Are we living life to the fullest? Have we really thought what we have to do with this gift of our parents called, life which at times are incidental? As with other things, we might have had hundred different plans which occur to be obsolete when we retrospect. I thought of discussing the feeling of nakedness when we are away from these time keepers and connecting partners. I happen to read a book which had the collection of letters which Swami Vivekananda wrote during his days in India and abroad. There were many takings from these chronicles. It is very true that the letters a man writes depicts the actual picture than any books or biographies could ever do. This book gave me a peep into Swami's life and his lifestyle. By the way, this is not written in hysteria. To those who believe Swami Vivekananda was just another religious leader, please have a second thought would be my recommendation. For a person like me who after all these years of following his life and teachings in many aspects this book changed the way I think and now am at a stage of self-ridiculing from what I see that I once thought. I am not judging a great person like Swami but sharing my thoughts on a worldwide subject. More than a religious soul he was a reformer that India could never actually benefit from.
